We have received a new version of the UBB.threads bulletin board. The new version
offers many additional features and bug fixes to the software. This upgrade will be from
version 6.0.2 to 6.4.3.

I believe this transition will be smooth and there will be very little forum down time. If
anyone has problems after the upgrade please do not hesitate to let us know what the
problem is and we will do our best to find a solution.

This upgrade will take place sometime within the next month. I will post the exact date
here when it is known so stay tuned........

Thank you,
Lee Woodcock

What's a "sticky" topic?

Its a topic that the moderators want to keep at the top of the forum so that people will pay attention to it.

For example, look in the script archive. There are 2 sticky topics there.

A few problems:
One cannot view the posts for the last 24/48 hours without being logged in
The search function can not be done for more than one month back
I cannot download attachments (Error 400 is reported by Internet Explorer), but I could not do this with the previous version either
Private messages are disabled, hence this posting

Sorry about this,

I had to resetup all the features and I apparently missed some. I will fix and look into the problems you are having...

Sorry to bug you about this, but I cannot download any attachments either (get 400 error with mozilla) . Guess it's better that you know about these slight problems.

Which forum/post are you trying to download something from?

This feature is really picky with ubb, but I am going to get it working if it is the last thing I do.

Also, I registered another used name and I got a confirmation email so I think that is working now. Let me know if you continue to have problems with this.....

I think the attachements (there were only a few) were deleted during the upgrade. I will be more careful about this in the future.

sorry about the problems....
