Dear Charmm users,

I'm now trying to prepare my membrane proteins using charmm-gui membrane builder. I tried to upload my own PDB file but it doesn't work. I get an error saying "Submit valid PDB ID or upload custom PDB file". I don't know what wrong with it. I used the same PDB file before and everything was fine, no problems at all. But now I just want to change the lipid type so I tried to upload the same pdb file as before but it doesn't work.

I also tried the other modules in charmm-gui to upload the pdb file but it also doesn't work, got the same error.

Are there some problems with charmm-gui server at the moment or are there any way to solve this problems?

Thank you so much in advance for any helps and suggestions.

Best Regards,
Kanin

Sorry about that. The disk space was full. It should be working all right now.

Is anyone else having this problem now? After a few days of not working, it worked for me yesterday, but today it is not.

I'm having a different sort of problem presently with glycan reader. If the file is downloaded directly from RCSB, it is downloaded and processed completely. However if the same file is instead uploaded from my computer, it appears to be read correctly but the generation of the parameter files fails.

The error message says that "unit 10 cannot be opened as zzz_carb.crd" and that "open not possible". I've tried this with a couple of different files with similar results.

Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dan

I've tried uploading a PDB and it seems working. Is is possible for you to share your PDB file so I can reproduce your error?

Thanks,
Sunhwan
