Now that a new parameter set for sugars has been release. I would like to know if there will be any further development to extent the all36_carb to include additional sugar derivatives such as iduronic and glucosamine?

I notice that there are few previous papers that have studies these structures base on CHARMM, but I am not sure about the compatibility with the latest charmm parameter sets.

There is currently work in progress on
  • sugar phosphates
  • sugar sulfates
  • iduronic acid
  • N-acetylglucosamine

It may take several months before it becomes publicly available, though.

I'm not familiar with the previous work you're talking about but it's not very likely to be compatible.
